Why does this Role exist
Reporting to Global IT Infrastructure Lead, the IT Helpdesk Engineer offers support and technical assistance to customers who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers. She/he will ensure the smooth functioning of all Helpdesk processes. She/he will coordinate with other IT Teams to ensure timely resolution of issues, optimize resource utilization, monitor system, and network devices.

What would you expected to do
- Responsible for onsite IT support matters.
- Responsible for supporting desktop hardware/software and peripheral devices.
- Manages fault isolation, resolution and coordination with support parties.
- Handle desktop configuration management and desktop backup, and restoration.
- Manage Polycom VC support and LAN/voice port activation, and relocation.
- Generate service and usage report.
- Provide WiFi support, reset iPad configuration.
- Helpdesk support
- Handle incident/problem logging matters.
- Engage physically onsite to update IT asset inventory quarterly.
- Be available onsite for emergencies/planned works.
- Support remote teams with network/system mounting and relocation.
Educational Qualifications and Experience needed for this Job
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (in Computer Science or Information Technology)
What Really Catches our eye
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of MS windows and PC LAN/Desktop support.
- Experience in Email support.
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft platform (Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL server) & Linux platform administration.
- Experience in virtualization platform, storage system is preferable.
- Experience in the administration of Polycom device or Cisco router, switch or network cabling is an advantage.
