BDx Data Centers began its groundbreaking journey in 2022 with a US$300 million joint venture with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Lintasarta marking one of the most significant foreign investments in Indonesia’s data center sector and ushering in a new era of digital transformation – BDx Indonesia.

BDx Indonesia is investing significantly in enhancing its data center infrastructure and connectivity solutions. Since 2022, BDx Indonesia has already developed multiple data center facilities at strategic locations, offering 50MW+ by the end of 2023, and aims to increase to 250MW in the next four years. The facilities include new greenfield projects offering 100MW+ capacity.
We are acquiring and upgrading additional Telco sites strategically located outside Jakarta. These upgraded sites will offer colocation and connectivity solutions to hyperscalers and enterprise customers, further expanding BDx’s reach and catering to the diverse needs of the Indonesian market.
We are partnering with EdgeNXT Exchange Fabric, an open, Carrier-neutral interconnection ecosystem, facilitating high-speed, cost-effective exchange of peering traffic between its members and participants in Indonesia. With Indonesia’s rising digital competitiveness, EdgeNXT will create a distributed internet exchange across 34 provinces, establishing its presence in owned edge locations, partner ecosystems, and multiple data centers.
